Newton Montessori School encourages racial, ethnic, religious and economic diversity in our student
population, and we base our acceptances upon the appropriateness of the school
for each individual student. Newton Montessori School does not discriminate on the basis of race,
color, religion,
national/ethnic origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation or
political beliefs.
If you wish to receive an application, you must take a
tour of our School or attend our fall Open
House. Tours are scheduled by the Director of Admissions and take place on Monday and
Friday mornings. Tours start at 9:00 a.m. and generally last until 11:00
a.m. Parents are asked to come without their children. During the visit,
you will be given a chance to sit in a classroom and observe the children “in
action,” then take a walk around our facility, and finally, view a short video
about the Montessori philosophy as it pertains to children your child’s age.
You will also have an opportunity to have any questions answered and
receive an application. This experience generally gives prospective parents a good idea of who we are.
If you would like to schedule a tour or have any questions,
please send
e-mail to the Director of Admissions, or call 617-969-4488.
